Our sermon series for January will focus on transformation.  We began by remembering our baptisms and by preparing for personal transformation.  Today we move on to the transformation of our church with a challenge for unity, which we will also continue next week.  We will conclude by remembering Jesus’ call to the disciples and how we as the church are to be about the mission of making disciples, beginning with our own members.

Last week worship participants received two gifts: a shell with which to remember their baptisms, and a prayer journal.  If you were not here, they are still many available in the Narthex.  Feel free to take one to family or friends who were not here.  Try to use your prayer journal daily.  Begin by answering the questions in the front.  As you become comfortable talking with God through your writing, you can write about anything!  Blessings to you in your holy journaling!
